Protection That Actually Works When It Has To

At the shoulders and elbows, CE Level 2 High Elastic Memory PU protectors — certified to EN 1621-1 2012 Type B — absorb impact energy and distribute it away from the joint. They're not rigid. They move with you, stay put during a ride, and respond on contact. The back gets the same treatment: a CE FB Level 2 Memory PU protector certified to EN 1621-2 2014, sitting right where a fall wants to do the most damage.

This isn't minimum-compliance protection. It's the ceiling of what a textile jacket at this price point should be doing.

Built to Slide Without Giving Up

The outer shell runs 600D Polyester across the back and shoulders — panels that take the first hit and hold their structure. At the elbows, where slide forces concentrate, CORDURA® takes over. It's denser, more resistant, and specifically chosen because those zones see the most abrasion in a real get-off.

Holding it all together is a Safety Stitch System — reinforced dual stitching with coated nylon thread. Seams are often the first thing to blow out under stress. Not here.
