Kavach Rajmarga — Highway Touring Jacket

Most jackets are designed around a commute. The Rajmarga was designed around a journey — the kind where the highway stretches past the last fuel pump, where the altitude climbs without warning, and where every kilometre demands that your gear actually does its job. This isn't a jacket you wear to look the part. It's one that works when the part gets serious.

Every panel decision, every protector placement, every stitch choice was pressure-tested against the roads and passes of the Himalayas — the most unforgiving terrain we know, and the only proving ground we trust.

Protection at the Top of Its Class — and Actually Accessible
Shoulders and elbows are covered by CE Level 2 High Elastic Memory PU protectors, certified to EN 1621-1:2012 Type B. They aren't the stiff, uncomfortable inserts you fight with on a long haul. These flex naturally with arm movement, hold position through corners, and absorb and distribute impact energy at the joint the moment contact happens. The back protector works on the same principle — CE FB Level 2, certified to EN 1621-2:2014, sitting exactly where a fall targets first.

This isn't built to pass a minimum standard. It's built to reach the ceiling of what protection at this price point can actually be.

And then there's the detail that makes the Rajmarga genuinely unlike anything else in its category: every protector — shoulders, elbows, back — is accessed and replaced from the exterior. No pulling liners apart, no digging through inner pockets. One zip, and you're in. Whether you're upgrading, inspecting, or swapping after a season of hard use, the system works with you rather than against you. In a class of jackets that hides their protection behind three layers of lining, this is an engineering decision that actually changes day-to-day ownership.

Every zip on the Rajmarga runs on YKK — the standard that the rest of the industry measures against. When a zip needs to hold under stress, in cold, in rain, in dust — that's not the place to cut cost. We didn't.

Built Light. Built to Last a Slide.
The Rajmarga's outer shell runs a lightweight, high-tenacity Nylon fabric across the body — chosen specifically because it keeps the weight-to-strength ratio where it needs to be for long-distance touring without sacrificing structural integrity. You don't feel the weight at the end of a 400km day. You do feel the difference when it matters.

At all primary impact zones — the areas that take first contact and concentrate slide forces in a real get-off — the material steps up to CORDURA®. Denser, more abrasion-resistant, and purpose-selected for exactly those positions. The rest of the jacket stays light. The zones that take damage are built to outlast it.

Holding everything together is a Safety Stitch System: dual and triple reinforced seaming with coated nylon thread throughout. Seams fail before fabric does. The Rajmarga was engineered with that fact front and centre — not as an afterthought.

Seen When the Light Disappears
Low visibility is when it goes wrong. The Rajmarga doesn't go quiet at dusk. 3M Scotchlite reflective panels and 3D contrast piping run across the back, front, and sleeves — placed where headlights actually land and where oncoming drivers have time to react. Not a small logo near the hem. Not a single strip on the collar. Full placement, front and back, designed around how light hits a moving rider.

Mountain tunnels, pre-dawn highway starts, the last stretch before camp when the light drops fast — the Rajmarga stays in sight when everything else fades.

Airflow on Your Terms
Mesh intake panels sit cleverly tucked under external flaps — pulling in fresh, moving air while keeping the system weather-resistant when you need it sealed. Zip-controlled vents at the side seams manage airflow through the body, letting hot air escape on a long flat stretch and closing completely when the temperature drops or the rain moves in. There are no passive slots left open to flood in weather. Every vent is a decision you make, not one the jacket makes for you.

The Rajmarga doesn't need attention. It just performs — across highways, through high passes, in whatever conditions the journey puts in front of you.

Cruise the road you came to ride. Let the Rajmarga handle the rest.
